1. Catching up on Google Reader

    Just back from another jaunt in Europe. Can’t sleep so my jetlagged self is going through Google Reader, which I haven’t touched in weeks…

    • Microsoft is building $750 M parking garage.
    • Obama Ringtones. Wow.
    • Fake Steve is awesome, but you already knew that.
    • Microsoft Surface. “Your next computer will be a big ass table.”
    • RIP Mr. Wizard
    • So Google has been accusing Microsoft of using its monopoly to push its Live Desktop Search, yadda yadda. Sometimes I think, isn’t Google the monopoly? Not really (everything is free, they don’t really have control as it’s easy to switch), but I’d still kill for Flickr upload from Picasa.
    • Employees go on strike at Deutsche Telekom. They don’t want their work weeks increased to 38 hrs… they already have 6+ weeks of vacation.
    • Safari for Windows. Weird. Ars reviews. Interesting how there are lots of security issues.

    Still have 100+ to read for later.
